Energy and recycling resources such as coal, iron making and steel making slag, gypsum, incineration residue at municipal waste treatment plant and so on are reduced to several mm or under 1mm from several tens mm lump.
Rod Ball mill
Rod mill is suitable for avoiding overgrinding. ball mill is suitable for fine or super fine grinding.
Characteristics of rod mill
(1) Material is continuously ground with tumbling cylindrical drum within steel rods. (or steel balls)
(2) There are two basic systems viz. wet grinding that material is ground in water or oil and dry grinding that is done in dry air condition.
Materials with up to 10% water is able to be ground in case of dry grinding with heating process.
(3) Operation and maintenance is easy because of simple construction.
(4) Noise can be reduced using rubber liners of the cylindrical drum or sound proofing shell.
(5) Mill capacity is available from several hundreds kilo gram per hour to several hundreds tons per hour.

(2) Crushing and grinding of incineration residue.
(3) Crushing and grinding of ash melting slag.
(4) Recovery system of magnetic material from iron making and steal making slag.
